- Register yourself. Once you have completed your data and you have accepted our
terms of use you will receive an email in your mail account.
- Upload your photographs. Once you upload your photographs for the first time, we will ask you to send us a copy of your ID.
Then, every time you upload an image you will have to accept the
Terms and conditions of the photographer’s community. There, you will register that you authorize that your images can be shown and commercialize through www.focolatino.net.
- Name, categorize and assign key words. This step is really important when you sale your images. The more key words you relate to the image, the more it will appear as a search result.
- Categories: you have to choose at least one category for your image. You can choose all those that are appropriate for it.
- Keywords: they include all the Concepts that describe the image and all the synonyms and words related that you consider could define it. Here we show you an example:
Nombre: father and son
Categories: People, Duet, People, emotions, joy
Keywords: : father, man, young, son, children, kid, little, hug, game, playing, laughs, smile, hands, noses, look
- Pictured person Authorization: if the photograph contains the image of identifiable persons, you will have to enclose the
corresponding authorization
form along with a copy of their ID or identity card.
- Ready! Your photographs will be evaluated by focolatino specialists that will inform you by e-mail if they have been accepted and, consequently, they will be shown in the gallery or if they have not reached the established quality levels.
- Will the photographs I upload be shown automatically in focolatino?
- Your photographs will be evaluated by our specialists and they will inform you by mail if the photographs have been accepted and, consequently, will be shown in the gallery.
- What kind of subjects is focolatino looking for?
In
Focolatino we have a double purpose: to satisfy the Designers, publicists and communicators needs in their search for photographic images for Communications pieces.
We wish to offer a wide variety of images but, above all, we wish to stand out for a big stock of images that focus on people.
We will surely agree that we look forward to a spontaneous, fresh and everyday aesthetics that spreads the latin spontaneity and warmth.
The top searched images by Designers are those who include persons in the following situations:
- Images whose main characters are kids, families, friends, couples.
- Everyday home, work or al outdoor situations.
- Urban, rural or business images.
- What kind of files does focolatino accept?
The images you upload must be jpg files and must apply some minimum requirements:
- Minimum image size: 2560 x 1920
- 5 megapixel
- Minimum Weight: 3 mb
- What does the pictured person authorization mean?
Every time you upload an image that includes an identifiable person, even when that person is among a crowd, you will have to enclose
the pictured person authorization form for the use of the image along with a copy of the pictured person ID or identity card.
In case of people under 21 years old, the authorization must be signed by either both parents or a tutor and you must send us the two first identity card or passport pages of the pictured person and his/her parents’ too, along with the birth certificate of the minor, all of them scanned.
Every time you upload a photograph that includes the image of an identifiable person you will have to enclose the already mentioned documentation, whether it is the same model or a self-portrait.

- What kind of use agreement does focolatino establish for the images shown in its gallery?
- Focolatino commercialize stock images that are free of rights. This means that, once the user buys the photographs, he/she can use them as many times as he/she wish, according to the limits established in the
"use of images agreement"
- What Rights do I keep over my images?
- The copyright of your images is still 100% yours. You never loose rights over your photographs. You can remove the images from focolatino when you wish to do so. However, you must take into account that the users that have acquired images belonging to you will be able to use them according to the limits established in the
"use of images agreement" .
- Which are the incomes for the sale of my images?
The commission’s scheme allows that your incomes grow proportionally to your sales.

- How do I get my incomes?
Focolatino has developed a space where you can visualize your account statement.
There, you will be able to find each one of your sales, the format in which it has been downloaded and the corresponding commission.

Once you have reached $150, send us an e-mail to fotógrafos@focolatino.net specifying the method of payment you prefer to receive your commissions. You can choose between PayPal or bank transference. For this last option, you will have to fulfill a register form with all your account information. Suitable taxes are met by the photographer. Focolatino only pays to the name, address and/or bank account informed in your register form.

- How do I adquire Focolatino images?

You just have to register, select the image you wish, the resolution desired and you will automatically join a secure payment system provided by Decidir.com, an enterprise with more than 10 years in the e-commerce market. There, you will be asked for information of the credit card that you want to use to pay for the image.

Focolatino commercializes royalty-free images. This means that, once they are bought, they can be used as many times as desired, within the established limits in the "Use of photographs License Contract". In article 6 of this contract, you will be able to find all the uses allowed. Next, we include some of them, just to mention a few ones:
- The use of the image for printed material is limited to a
maximum of 500.000 copies. In case you want to distribute a quantity over than number, you have to ask Focolatino the corresponding authorization by sending an e-mail to info@focolatino.net
- The use of the photograph in promotion material or merchandising material can reach a maximum of 5000 products as long as its distribution is free and promotional. In no case products can be commercialized with the image of the photograph. In case you want to distribute a larger amount, you have to ask Focolatino for the corresponding authorization by sending an e-mail to info@focolatino.net
- How many times can I download the same image?

You have 24 hours to download the acquired image. Once this period is over, you will have to pay for the image again, without any exception.
